The attached animated short by Joanne Smithies, Eric De Melo Bueno, Michael Moreno, Hugo Bailly Desmarchelier and Camille Turon (all students at ESMA Montpellier) is gorgeous, atmospheric and sumptuously textured; an absolute treat. ENJOY!

“Brother you don’t need to turn me away, I was waiting down at the ancient gate;
You’ll go, wherever you go today, you’ll go today.”
Encourage your Saturday night mellow with this most chill of pairings: the delicious haunting harmonies of Fleet Foxes served alongside the abstract cut-paper stop motion visions of Sean Pecknold. Both Sean and ‘Foxes have been featured on The Tripatorium™ before which can be handily accessed through the following two hyperlinks: Knowledge / Grown Ocean.
A big thanks goes to Chris for the suggestion – cheers!

Mike Crozier spent some time interning at Stockholm design house, SNASK, during which he produced this stop-motion promotional video. No special effects, no tricks, just 1846 individual photos taken over the course of four days then stitched together. Well done, sir.
P.S. Just a heads up: there’s a brief NSFW moment at 1:01 so just make sure the boss isn’t looking over your shoulder, OK?
